Improve Skills Needed Today and Tomorrow

Poverty affects the private lives of millions in Madagascar, manifesting in quiet discussions among parents. Many young people face inadequate educational opportunities, resulting in their exclusion from social structures. Consequently, they are frequently exposed to domestic violence, alcohol abuse, gambling, and drug use. Investing in well-being fosters a loyal, positive, and stable workforce. Your support will enhance people's job skills necessary for both the present and future.

Challenge

Not all children receive the necessary resources for development in their early years. Children and youth living in poverty often focus solely on their immediate needs, such as food, making education a low priority. Many Malagasy individuals lack the education, training, and skills required to be employable and advance in their careers. Additionally, they experience delays in transitioning from school to work and face challenges in finding jobs that offer a living wage.

Solution

We are collaborating with local partners to guarantee that our recipients' basic human rights are fulfilled by enhancing their employability skills and minimizing obstacles to entering the labor market. Participants will gain access to advice, technology, information, and training, allowing them to explore their personal abilities and professional aspirations. We work alongside inspiring individuals who operate in the short term but plan for the long term to ensure our recipients' basic human rights are addressed.
